When developing the Energo heaters we studied the natural laws, utilising the latest findings from heating technology. The sun has inspired us, as its rays warms the athmosphere successfully by heating solid objects first (the earth). Energo heaters operates on the same principle as the sun. That means high ceilings are no longer any problems because the Energo heaters warms the surfaces and not the entire air space. This provides a natural, all-over, comfortable heat without cold spots or draughts, and the area stays fresh and airy. Ambient temperature is the temperature that we feel (our heat sensation). It is the average of the air temperature in the room and the surface temperature of floors, walls, fixtures and furnishings. The ambient temperature is always higher with radiant heat than with conventional heat and the working atmosphere is better despite that you can have 3- 6°C lower air temperature than with conventional heating. When rooms are heated conventionally i.e. with hot air, the hot air rises towards the ceiling, leaving low temperatures at floor level (see figs. 1 & 3). This results in a very low standard of heating comfort, unnecessary high running costs, poor working conditions, draughts and lowered productivity, due to increased absence on health ground. Energo heaters provides heat where you most want it - in the actual working or living zone (see figs. 2 & 3). The heater warms floors and walls in the room just like the sun warms the earth. This provides very efficient comfortable heating and big energy savings in comparison to a conventional heating system (i.e. hot air).
